Membership
Joining the League of Women Voters Yolo County (LWVYC) is a meaningful way to engage with your community and support democracy. We believe that an informed and active public is essential for a thriving democracy. Whether you are an experienced advocate or just beginning your civic journey, the League welcomes your participation.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Starting in February 2025, membership registration and renewal will follow a standardized process across all local and state League chapters.
You can join or renew your membership through the online LWV Member Portal

Starting February 3, 2025, membership dues will follow a pay-what-you-can model. The recommended dues rate for all Leagues is $75, but you may contribute any amount above that or a minimum of $20. If you are joining or renewing on behalf of another person, the recommended contribution is 50% of your paid dues.
If your current dues are higher than $75, we encourage you to continue paying at that level to help sustain our League’s budget.
